Father’s Day 2020

I’ve written a lot about Father’s Day, being a son for most of them. Tomorrow is my second Father’s Day as a Dad. Our little one is sick, and Saturday was filled with a Doctor’s appointment, sickness supplies, and plenty of rest for Nicholas.
I love being a Dad. I’m no expert, and there’s so much I don’t know, but I do know this. When he lays over on me, about to drift off to sleep, and whispers Dad, it makes me feel like I’m the greatest Dad in the world. While I know that I’m not, he makes me want to be.
The reward of being a Dad, is the relationship you get to have with your child. I get to see him every morning, and hug him every night. That makes every day Father’s Day, and oh, how I love being a Dad!
