All Of Our December’s
His hand has never slipped. He has never acted too quickly, or moved to slow. What we assume as a delay, is exactly on schedule. While we view 2020 as a challenge, disaster, or a series of horrible occurrences, it fits perfectly in the timeline of The Master. This is true, not because the year was great, but because Our God is. He is so great, Herod couldn’t stop Him. The Pharisees couldn’t end Him, and Death couldn’t hold The Lord Jesus. 2020 will neither stop His purpose, or His people. As we stand on the edge of a new year, neither you nor I know what it holds. We…

8:05-10:09
Have you ever wondered what minute and hour Our Lord was born? We discuss the date, but what about the time? Was it 8:05, 10:09, or midnight? What does that matter, because the moment it happened, a new era dawned. That second began a transition from when would He arrive to, what will He do next? The Christmas Symphony
PruittWrites hopes you enjoy this Christmas story, our very own Christmas Symphony to you. It was a Christmas violin. Virginia sat on the step of the Chapel, near the carved Nativity, listening as the crowd exchanged gifts. It was the traditional Christmas Eve night of the Christmas festival in the village of Paulsburg. One that had continued for a hundred years. How it began was not quite as fine as it was currently practiced. Today, the violinist serenades either his fiancé or bride…

iPainting Christmas Toy
What Christmas toy are you dreaming of this year? For me, it’s less about the gift, and more about the hearts that give. The time with our loved ones truly makes it the most wonderful time of the year.

Gouache White Reindeer
The term used is negative painting in watercolor and gouache, when you paint the outline of something instead of the object itself. In that way, it’s like a Christmas present. You see the wrapping, maybe an outline of a shape, but the present is hidden. Maybe 2020 has been like this for you. Because of the events of this year, you can barely see even the outline of hope. Yet I promise you, it is there. Every generation, every tragic event, every life, has seen joy born into it. That does not mean your situation is any less painful, only that there is hope beyond the pain. The key isn’t…

This is a Rudolph in Gouache, in the style of my childhood. I still love the 80’s.
