Sketch Inktober Crystal

Today is the first day of Inktober, the thirty day drawing challenge which occurs in October every year. As an artist, I love to take part in it. It’s both fun and challenging. I love interpreting what each day’s word could mean, the first this year being crystal.

A chandelier’s crystals are not the light themselves typically, they reflect the electric light. It reminds me of our walk with God. We reflect His Light shining through us. It’s not our own goodness, but His that we attempt to display each moment of our lives.
