Sketch Lincoln Standing For The Union

On July 4, 1861 President Lincoln gave a speech before a joint session of Congress. In a very real way he did more than give a speech, he took a stand for unity. Later he would stand strong during the long fight, this sketch being taken from a war photograph. May we in every generation, remember the freedoms the country holds dear.
