Sketch Nicholas Toy Soldier
This is a sketch of what is now my son’s Toy Soldier. I love that my son loves his Daddy’s things enough for them to become his. I pray the same can be said of the important things as he grows.

Sketch Cornbread
If you’re a Southerner especially, cornbread gets equal billing with the turkey. Most will also tell you, they can handle dry turkey if the dressing is good.

Inktober Hide
Inktober’ s word today is Hide. As always, this time of year, I look forward to Christmas. We’ve got a couple of gifts in a closet for a certain little boy. I began to think of the blessings God placed in my life, years ahead. At the time, I had no idea, but after it all came together, I can look back and see what God was wrapping up for me. If you’re hurting today, I would encourage you to run to Jesus, and let Him hide you under His wings. You’re find so many gifts for you waiting there!

Inktober Sketch Rocket
I grew up in the 80s, and I remember space shuttle launches. What was fascinating was this. Such powerful machines, capable of reaching space, had to be launched under specific conditions. No matter how talented you are, you cannot succeed on your own. Behind every astronaut on the moon, is a team firmly planted. Our greatest successes are never our own, but a combination of mercy, love, and the contribution of those who care about us.
